Presenter Profile: Ancestry Insider








The Ancestry Insider pens one of the "25 Most Popular Genealogy Blogs for 2009," according to ProGenealogists. He focuses on the two big genealogy organizations, Ancestry.com and FamilySearch. He currently works for one and previously worked for the other. The Insider's blog was named one of the "101 Best Web Sites" by Family Tree Magazine for both 2008 and 2009.

A genealogical technologist, the Insider has a post technology degree and holds patents in the United States and abroad. He has done genealogy since 1972 and has worked in the computer industry since 1978. Attendees of his conference classes are among the few nationalwide to learn his secret identity. And he really is descended from an Indian princess.
